Skulls (and other potentially morbid themes) can be cool in a design, but they aren't always suitable for the average taste. That said, I built the linked cue in the mid-1990's - themed around an event that followed the Black Plaque in Europe - but it still gets lots of attention to this day: http://cuezilla.com/archives/263
You just have to decide who your audience is, and how limited you want the appeal to be. the collector who bought this cue is a mortician.
